1.Purpose

This procedure defines how Control of Nonconforming Outputs is planned, carried out and recorded so that results are consistent and traceable.

2.Scope

It applies to all activities of the process within the organization's management system. Outsourced activities are covered only where stated.

5.Procedure

5.1 Planning

  1. Confirm the inputs and the required resources.
  2. Agree the schedule with the people involved.

5.2 Execution

  1. Carry out the activity according to the plan.
  2. Record the results immediately in the agreed record.
  3. Report any nonconformity to the process owner the same day.

5.3 Review

  1. The process owner reviews the records monthly. [CONFIRM: Is a monthly review frequency right for your organization?]
  2. Actions are recorded and followed up until closed.
